Develop an ongoing workforce development program to meet growing Information Technology workforce needs.
Objectives
1.
Identify/select at least 10-15 corporations within the Philadelphia region who have Information Technology, Telecommunications and related employee needs.
2.
Develop an accelerated training process (3 - 6 months) to fill identified/selected open positions.
4.
Train 100 people for entry and mid-level available positions in the Philadelphia.
5.
Develop a data bank of open IT & related jobs in the region and workforce development efforts directed toward this industry.
